Those Umno-BN-PN MPs who support Anwar to oust Muhyiddin are being called the Court-Cluster. These are people who Anwar has promised to help settle their court cases once he becomes PM9. These are also people who cannot accept the fact that today’s Umno is no longer the Umno of 1957. Today’s Umno has lost its shine or permata sudah jadi kaca. And the ironical thing is Anwar is one of those who destroyed Umno Baru (of 1988) by turning corruption into the new party culture.
THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin
The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) of Bukit Aman summoned Anwar Ibrahim for his statement to be recorded today at 11.00am in relation to five police reports which were lodged against him regarding his fake news that has gone viral on the internet.
The fake news is about a number of Barisan Nasional-Perikatan Nasional Members of Parliament allegedly crossing over to support Anwar to topple the government. In fact, Pakatan Harapan had announced that the government has already (or technically) fallen and that Muhyiddin Yassin is no longer the Prime Minister and that Anwar is now legally and legitimately the new Prime Minister or PM9.
Anwar’s “16 September 2.0” is dead in the water
This, of course, is false, and those BN-PN MPs implicated in this coup, or who have been alleged to have crossed over, have denied it. But still the fake news continues and their names are being mentioned as the frogs or traitors who are collaborating with Anwar to oust Muhyiddin and form a new backdoor government.
People such as Lokman Noor Adam have repeatedly said it is definitely the intention of the so-called Umno “frogs” (which means Lokman is confirming the story is true) to bring down Muhyiddin’s Perikatan Nasional government. But the real agenda is NOT to help Anwar take over as PM9 but to trigger a snap general election or GE15.
In short, says Lokman and those who share his sentiments, the objective is to start a “controlled fire”. An example of a “controlled fire” would be the “May 13” race riots of 1969. But the problem with “controlled fires”, as the “May 13” race riots has proven, fires cannot always be controlled and at times burn out of control.
Anwar wants to use Bukit Aman as the excuse to not meet His Majesty the Agong
Anyway, Anwar was summoned to Bukit Aman today for his statement to be recorded. But his office asked the police to change or postpone the appointment to 9.00am tomorrow, 13th October 2020.
But then, at 11.00am tomorrow, Anwar is supposed to be at Istana Negara to have an audience with His Majesty Seri Paduka Baginda Yang di-Pertuan Agong. So that would give the police only 90 minutes or so to record Anwar’s statement.
However, one-and-a-half hours is not enough. The police would need at least seven or eight hours. And this would mean Anwar will miss his 11.00am appointment with the Agong tomorrow.

The real issue is Anwar does not have a list of 121 MPs to show the Agong. All those Umno-BN-PN MPs supposedly on his list have already denied they are with him and some have lodged police reports. So, Anwar has to remove the names of all the Umno-BN-PN MPs from his list. And that would leave him with less than 100 names.
Anwar cannot go meet the Agong and show His Majesty a list of 121 names that includes names of those who have denied being with him. And he cannot remove their names and show His Majesty a list of less than 100 names. Hence Anwar wants to get out of meeting the Agong by blaming it on this interview with the police tomorrow, that will end at 4.00pm or later.
Mahathir, on the other hand, is trying to sabotage the plan to bring down Muhyiddin Yassin so that a snap GE15 can he held.
Mahathir knows the plan is not to oust Muhyiddin and make Anwar PM9 but to oust Muhyiddin so that GE15 can be held. So, Mahathir has preempted this by saying that Muhyiddin is going to kill many Malaysians from the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic by calling for a snap GE15.
Mahathir is trying to stop Muhyiddin from handing over the post of PM to Anwar to avoid a snap GE15
Mahathir reckons that Anwar might get more than 112 MPs to support the move to oust Muhyiddin if the Umno or BN-PN MPs support him. Then Muhyiddin will either have to resign or request the Agong for Parliament to be dissolved.
Seeing that the Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic in Malaysia is very bad (and some in Mahathir’s circle say it is worse than the government is admitting) a snap GE15 would be suicidal. That leaves only one option for Muhyiddin — to resign to make way for Anwar to take over as PM9.

Mahathir does not want this, which is why he is accusing Muhyiddin of calling for the Sabah state election and hence killing many people — and that now he is going to kill more people by dissolving Parliament to make way for snap GE15.
Mahathir knows Muhyiddin will not dare request the Agong to dissolve Parliament to make way for a snap GE15. If he does, he is going to get hammered good and proper and is going to be cursed till kingdom come. This means Muhyiddin will have to just resign and allow Anwar to take over.
The Covid-19 coronavirus pandemic in Malaysia is exploding and a snap GE15 is suicidal
Umno’s secret plan is going to backfire — or the so-called “control fire” will burn out of control. If the dissidents (or the anti-Muhyiddin/anti-PPBM faction in Umno) proceed with the plan to oust Muhyiddin thinking that a snap GE15 will happen, they may be very disappointed.
If Anwar does meet the Agong tomorrow and can prove he has 121 MPs with him, His Majesty might have to summon these 121 MPs to ask them one-by-one if it is true they support Anwar for PM9.
The reporters will be camped outside Istana Negara to see who they are as they arrive one-by-one (or as a group in a bus). Malaysia will then know who these people are, especially the “frogs” and “traitors” from Umno and BN-PN.
Those Umno-BN-PN MPs who support Anwar to oust Muhyiddin are being called the Court-Cluster. These are people who Anwar has promised to help settle their court cases once he becomes PM9.
