Mass Protests In Myanmar, Generals Blink First

 There were massive protests in Yangon today. Here is the video.

The people seem to be unafraid.  I recall during the Aung San Su Kyi protests of about 15 - 20 years ago most Myanmarese people were wearing sarongs and slippers. 

In this video here you can see young protesters dressed like young people anywhere else in the world - jeans, T shirts and sneakers.  This could be Cairo, Tunis, Lebanon or Bangkok. The world does have common denominators. The young people realise this is the 21st century. 

Real bullets will not frighten the people. The Myanmar generals fired rubber bullets. The situation is still evolving.

The Myanmar protesters face the same problems - leadership.

They can protest in the streets but they do not have an organised leadership nor a leadership that can take over the country and run it. Inexperience and lacking organised leadership is the biggest problem facing these protesters from Cairo to Bangkok and now in Yangon.
