Toddler dies after falling into manhole in Sibu

PETALING JAYA:

 A two-year-old boy died after he fell into a manhole at Jalan Pedada in Sibu, Sarawak, this evening.

A Sarawak fire and rescue department spokesman said they were alerted to the incident at about 6.30pm, Harian Metro reported.

The victim’s father told first-responders that his son was missing and was believed to have fallen into the manhole.

The body was found five minutes later. - FMT
