PETALING JAYA: A mild earthquake measuring 2.7 on the Richter scale hit Segamat, Johor, at 7.29am today.
The meteorological department (MetMalaysia) said the quake occurred about 10km northwest of Segamat at a depth of 10km.
It said it is monitoring the situation.
It was the fourth mild tremor felt in Segamat and its surrounding areas in as many days.
Yesterday, a 3.4-magnitude quake occurred at 4.24am about 12km northeast of Segamat at a depth of 10km. - FMT
