PUTRAJAYA: The National Day 2025 celebration here tomorrow is expected to take place under fair weather conditions, according to the Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia).
In its special forecast issued today, MetMalaysia said the skies over Putrajaya are likely to remain generally clear in the morning, with minimal chances of rain. The outlook is favourable for the event, which is anticipated to draw more than 500,000 visitors to Dataran Putrajaya.
"Based on current weather models, no significant rainfall is expected during the main proceedings. Conditions are expected to remain suitable for outdoor activities throughout the morning," it said in a statement.
Putrajaya is once again hosting the National Day parade, which marks the nation's 68th independence anniversary. This year's celebration will feature a patriotic showcase involving contingents from the security forces, government agencies, students, and community groups.
MetMalaysia said it would continue to monitor developments closely and issue updates if necessary. - NST
