WHY SHAKESPEARE NOT INVITED?

Egypt today (Monday October 13th 2025) will host an international peace summit on Gaza in the Red Sea resort city of Sharm el-Sheikh, co-chaired by President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi and his US counterpart Donald Trump.

According to the official Egyptian News Agency, leaders and officials from 27 countries will take part in the summit.

The list *includes:

Here is a question. Shakespeare has been a passionate advocate for the Gaza, and champion’s the Gaza with fire and brimstone. Why is he not on the invitation list?

 
It is sad the organisers overlooked him and failed to put him on the list. Lo and behold ! The list even includes leaders from India, Azerbaijan (why Azerbaijan) and Pakistan, not to mention Indonesia. What did these countries and their leaders do for Gaza that Shakespeare did not do.
