PETALING JAYA: A fire broke out inside a forest area within Taman Perdana Heights on Wednesday (Oct 29).
When contacted, Selangor Fire and Rescue Department assistant director Ahmad Mukhlis said that the fire engulfed around 2.4ha of forest in the area.
"The fire was under control at around 6.05pm. Extinguishing works are around 80% complete with efforts still ongoing," he said.
He added that around seven firefighters were sent to the scene to extinguish the fire. - Star
