Perak fire and rescue department says the man, who was trapped in the rear of the vehicle, died at the scene.

Perak fire and rescue department acting assistant operations director Shazlean Hanafiah said an emergency call was received at 4.59pm today, Sinar Harian reported.
He said five soldiers were rescued before the fire department arrived, while two remained trapped in the rear of the truck.
“The first victim was pulled out at 5.54pm and was confirmed dead. The second was extricated at 6.14pm with injuries and sent for treatment,” he said in a statement.
The rescue operation, involving 11 personnel from the Kuala Kangsar and Meru Raya fire stations, was completed at 6.14pm.
It is understood that it was raining at the time of the accident, and that no other vehicle was involved. - FMT
