The Israel regime has destroyed 623 Palestinian homes and structures in the West Bank, including Jerusalem, since the beginning of the year.
The demolition was part of the regime’s campaign aimed at displacing Palestinians and imposing its control in the area, according to the Palestinian news agency (Wafa).
The move is also a continuation of the regime’s policy of ethnic cleansing and pressure on Palestinian residents, exacerbating the daily suffering and worsening the housing crisis in the holy city, it added.

Palestinians in Jerusalem face extreme difficulty in obtaining building permits within occupied Jerusalem and often face heavy fines or risk having their homes demolished if they build without permits.
