KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airlines today commenced its inaugural A350-900 service from Kuala Lumpur to London with a send-off ceremony at the KL International Airport (KLIA).
MH4 departed KLIA at 9.15am and will arrive at London Heathrow at 3.25pm today, the national carrier said in a statement.
Malaysia Airlines chief executive officer Izham Ismail and chief commercial officer Arved von zur Muehlen were present at KLIA to greet the 255 passengers on MH4.
The latest addition to the Malaysia Airlines fleet, the A350 has a total capacity of 286 seats, comprising four in first class, 35 in business class and 247 in economy class.
The aircraft offers more spacious seats in the economy class, an all-new inflight entertainment experience and in-flight connectivity. -FMT
