Pakatan Harapan Wanita deputy chief Dr Siti Mariah Mahmud today reminded the coalition leadership to be united if they want to take Putrajaya.
"The condition for us to go to Putrajaya is unity, there shouldn't be gunting di lipatan (scissors at the fold)," she said during her speech at Pakatan Harapan Wanita convention.
She drew the analogy of all four Harapan component party songs being played at the start of the event, instead of the coalition’s song.
"We don't want to see that when we are united, where we play our own songs," said the Kota Raja parliamentarian.
Without naming names or any specific incident, she also said a the behaviour of a "certain leader" who acted after a decision had been reached would only split the coalition.
The Amanah leader then broke into tears when recounting the sacrifices of women politicians that are commonly taken for granted.
