The price of petrol will go down by 3 sen effective midnight while the price of diesel will remain unchanged.
According to an announcement by the Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Ministry, RON95 and RON97 will retail three sen less at RM2.26 per litre and RM2.53 per litre, respectively.
The price of diesel, on the other hand, will remain at RM2.32 per litre. With this, the price of diesel will be more expensive than RON95.
The weekly fuel price system was implemented on March 30 last year.
It is determined by global oil prices based on the Mean of Platts Singapore and the ringgit's strength against the US dollar.
The retail prices are announced every Wednesday evening, and take effect the following day.
