Rosmah Mansor's application to transfer her trial on 17 money laundering charges from the Sessions Court to the Kuala Lumpur High Court has been allowed.
Rosmah is the wife of former premier Najib Abdul Razak.
Her lawyer Geethan Ram Vincent, who made the application, said this was in the interest of justice.
Lead appointed prosecutor Gopal Sri Ram did not object.
"I take the view that the transfer is to fulfil the end of justice and therefore I allow the application," said High Court Judge Justice Mohd Nazlan Mohd Ghazali.
