KUALA LUMPUR (Bernama): Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad today congratulated the Special Action Unit (UTK) on the occasion of its 45th anniversary.
He said the UTK is special as its members are well-trained and have specific capabilities.
"I am pleased that the unit is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year.
"We hope the members will always remember their responsibilities and be mindful that their actions must be in accordance with the country's laws," Dr Mahathir said in a posting on his official Facebook page Friday (Jan 10).
UTK, a tactical unit under the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), was established on Jan 1,1975. – Bernama
