KIMANIS POLLS | Sabah Umno has alleged that their Warisan opponents have restricted BN candidate Mohamad Alamin's freedom of movement.
Sabah Umno chairperson Bung Mokhtar Radin claimed his party's campaign machinery was barred from entering a village known as "Kampung 6" and supporters of the state government behaved aggressively.
"Such a culture should not evolve with Warisan being a new party. It must stop!" said Bung in Membakut today.
He said Sabah Umno would lodge a police report over the incident because ''it is unacceptable to block a candidate's car and ask about his whereabouts".
Bung said it was fortunate that there were no incidents of violence against the BN candidate.
Earlier, Bung received membership applications from two out of three village community council chairpersons who resigned from Warisan, along with 170 supporters.
The two were Mohd Fadzly Abdul and Norliza Hashim.
Bung said the resignations showed they had lost confidence in the Warisan government.
