Yesterday someone sent me this video which at first I could not make head or tail of it.
Then this news has come out today:
https://www.msn.com/en-my/news/national/12-tabligh-members-nabbed-on-return-from-sulawesi/ar-BB11x8MZ?ocid=spartanntp
KK : Security forces detained 12 tabligh returning from Indonesia
as Sabah reported 22 new cases, bringing total to 158
Tawau police confirmed detention of 12 tabligh
attend gathering in Sulawesi, Indonesia
tried to enter Sabah off Tawau but ran into marine police at 3.20pm
Authorities alerted to return of group in the morning
they reached Sungai Pancang in Sebatik Island, Indonesia from Sulawesi
escorted to Tawau before being handed to National Security Council personnel
12 tabligh held in quarantine at Tawau Teachers Institute
state govt recently announced those from Sulawesi barred from entering
Kinabatangan and Sandakan 11 cases
Putatan and Sipitang 4 cases each
Kunak and Kota Belud five cases
Papar and Ranau two cases each.
Semporna one caseBeaufort 6 and Tuaran 12 cases
My comments : The 12 tablig were trying to sneak back into Sabah. They should have informed the Police / Maritime Agency / MKN etc and arranged for a proper re-entry.
The State government saying they would NOT be allowed back into Sabah was too severe. How can you not allow your own citizens back into THEIR homeland?
Where are the remaining 5000 or so Tablig who attended that gathering in Sri Petaling? They still have not turned up to surrender themselves.
The only plus point (if any) is that more than three weeks have passed since that Tablig gathering in Sri Petaling (29th Feb?) so those who are still healthy are fortunate. They have passed the 14 day incubation period of the virus.
But we still do not know if they might have already passed on the virus during that 14 day period. You can be a carrier and not get sick yourself.
Here is some good news. I believe this graph has been made public already by the MOH. This is a graph comparing the Malaysian and Italian confirmed cases of Corona Virus.
So it looks like the MCO (or PKP in Malay) is having a positive effect. The rate of new confirmed cases in Malaysia is tapering off vis a vis the Italian rate which is still growing.
This is NOT a fully correct interpretation, but understanding graphs a little, the important part is where the gradient of the Malaysian and Italian graphs were almost the same. In fact for a time the gradient of the Malaysian infections exceeded the Italian gradient.
But since the MCO kicked in, the gradients for the Malaysian graph and the Italian graph have parted ways. We have tapered down a little. This is some good news.
Tuan-tuan duduk diam-diam di rumah. Jangan keluar tanpa sebab yang munasabah. Beli makan, beli ubat ok. Tapi minum kopi, jumpa kawan, makan mee hailam semua elok postpone untuk sedikit masa lagi. Mungkin beberapa minggu. Sabar dan tabahkan hati.
Yo RTM, TV3, Media Prima, Astro etc tolong lah sikit. Tayang lah movie atau wayang yang elok dan kualiti sikit.
Ostad haprak saja keluar kaca tv siang malam buat apa?
Cancel lah local drama tak ada class - below third grade yang boring itu.
This is a national emergency.
Mainlah wayang James Bond, Batman, Superman, Bruce Lee, MGR macam tu lah.
Bukan saya minat pon tapi budak-budak suka kut.
