The Yang Di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah will make a televised address regarding the movement control order tonight, according to a report by the New Straits Times.
The address will be broadcasted live by RTM and TV3, the report said.
However, the nature of the address is unclear.
This comes following His Majesty’s inspection on the level compliance with the movement control order earlier today and his expressed disappointment.
"I hope that this can be reduced as soon as possible for the mutual benefit of the people, especially in Kuala Lumpur," he said, referring to the number of vehicles that were still on the road.
A palace spokesperson confirmed with Malaysiakini that the address will take place. - Mkini
