A 60-year-old COVID-19 patient in Sarawak General Hospital passed away at 11am today, 16 March, becoming the first coronavirus-related death in Malaysia

It was previously shared on Facebook that the church's Sunday services have been cancelled as he was diagnosed positive to safeguard all churchgoers.
"Anyone who came into contact with him the last few weeks please quarantine yourself for at least 14 days," said the announcement that was circulated by Kuching Calvary Family Church pastor Patricia Wong.
