CORONAVIRUS | Former prime minister Dr Mahathir Mohamad said being quarantined at home is boring.
However, he said this is a necessary measure to combat Covid-19.
"I am undergoing quarantine at home, it is very boring.
"I try to make myself less bored by reading, writing, and watching videos, shows that are available.
"Even though it is hard to stay at home for days, it's boring but what can we do.
"If we don't do this, the disease will spread and many will die," Mahathir said in a video uploaded to Youtube tonight.
Mahathir is undergoing quarantine after coming into close contact with a Covid-19 positive patient.
However, he has tested negative for the virus.
Mahathir urged the people to not go out like everything was normal.
He also thanked the frontliners on duty for serving to keep others safe. - Mkini
