PETALING JAYA: Muhyiddin Yassin clocked in for his first day of work as prime minister today, arriving at Perdana Putra in Putrajaya at 8am.
According to Bernama, he was greeted by Chief Secretary to the Government Mohd Zuki Ali before being taken to the prime minister’s office on the fifth floor.
He is scheduled to meet with Zuki, Inspector-General of Police Abdul Hamid Bador, and Malaysian Armed Forces Chief Affendi Buang later today.
Muhyiddin was sworn in as prime minister before Yang di-Pertuan Agong Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah at Istana Negara yesterday.
He was appointed to the position in line with Article 40(2)(a) and Article 43(2)(a) of the Federal Constitution. -FMT
