Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin unveils his cabinet line-up for the Perikatan Nasional government, which came into power following the collapse of the 21-month-old Pakatan Harapan administration on Feb 24.
Muhyiddin, 72, was sworn-in as the eighth prime minister on March following a week of political turmoil. He has received the support of lawmakers from his party Bersatu, Umno-BN, PAS and Gabungan Parti Sarawak.
Senior ministers:
International Trade and Industries Minister – Azmin Ali, deputy minister Lim Ban Hong (to be appointed senator)
Defence Minister – Ismail Sabri Yaakob, deputy minister Ikhmal Hisham Abdul Aziz
Works Minister - Fadillah Yusof, deputy minister Shahruddin Bin Md Salleh
Education Minister - Mohd Radzi Md Jidin Timbalan, deputy minister I Dr Mah Hang Soon (to be appointed senator and deputy minister II Muslimin Bin Yahaya. - Mkini
