Sabah Umno has reminded civil servants in the state not to sabotage the Perikatan Nasional (PN) federal government.
Sabah Umno chief Bung Moktar Radin (photo) said federal agencies and departments must stop their tendency to invite elected representatives from Warisan, Upko or Pakatan Harapan to their events.
“I take this matter seriously and it should not be happening because PN is now the federal government after the fall of the Harapan government.
“The chiefs of these federal agencies and departments should realise that Warisan, Upko and Harapan are the opposition on the federal level right now,” Bung said in a statement today.
Previously Sabah Umno communications chief Ghazalie Ansing had urged the Education Ministry to take action against the Sabah state education department (JPNS) director for organising an event with a Warisan representative.
Bung, who is also the Kinabatangan MP, agreed with Ghazalie, saying that the JPNS needs to stop holding events at schools with Warisan representatives immediately, even if they were planned earlier.
“This reminder is not only meant for state education director but all officers everywhere including division education offices and district education offices throughout Sabah,” Bung said. - Mkini
