Selangor PKR has expressed its commitment to stand by the Pakatan Harapan state government and to fulfilling the mandate given by the people last GE14.
“As the pillar of Harapan in Selangor, PKR stands firmly together to fulfil the mandate by the people. Me, along with 18 Selangor PKR assemblypersons give full support to strengthen the resolve and to provide the best service to the Selangor people.
“Selangor PKR also reiterates its promise to continue to be loyal and committed to DAP and Amanah... Harapan will not waste the trust of the people,” state PKR chief Amirudin Shari (above) said in a statement today.
Amirudin, who is also Selangor menteri besar, further promised to pursue Harapan’s struggles under the leadership of its president Anwar Ibrahim.
The Harapan state governments of Malacca and Johor have collapsed following the ousting of the federal Harapan recently, while the positions of the Harapan governments in Perak and Kedah remain precarious.
This after Bersatu, led by president Muhyiddin Yassin, along with several rogue PKR members led by former deputy president Azmin Ali, exited the coalition to enter the Perikatan Nasional coalition with Umno and PAS.
Muhyiddin was later sworn in as the new prime minister. - Mkini
