Seputeh MP Teresa Kok has tested negative for Covid-19.
In a Twitter post, she said she decided to undergo the test as she had met with fellow DAP MPs Dr Kelvin Yii (Bandar Kuching) and Andrew Wong Ling Biu (Sarikei) who have since tested positive for Covid-19.
"I did a Covid-19 test at Taman Desa Medical Centre as I have been in a meeting with the two DAP MPs who have been diagnosed positive and hospitalised.
"The test result shows that I am safe and healthy. Praise God," she said.
Kok (photo) then went on to wish former prime minister, Dr Mahathir Mohamad, a successful test.
The former premier is under self-quarantine following close contact with a confirmed Covid-19 case and was tested for the virus on Tuesday.
"Since many MPs who have met with the two Sarawak MPs were tested negative, Dr M should be the fine too," said Kok.
Malaysia has 900 Covid-19 positive cases and two deaths as of yesterday.
Putrajaya implemented the movement control order to battle the sharp increase in Covid-19 infections this week.
