Umno ministers and deputy ministers are ready to declare their assets as requested by Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
Youth and Sports Minister Reezal Merican Naina Merican (above) said they will do so in the near future.
"God willing, that is what has been asked of us. We obey, and that is a primary task that needs to be done," he told reporters after an Umno supreme council meeting in Kuala Lumpur today.
Communications and Multimedia deputy minister Zahidi Zainul Abidin also said that he would be declaring his assets.
"We have no problems (in declaring assets). Even in Parliament, I have declared. So there is no problem with making another declaration." he said.
Muhyiddin said that all cabinet ministers would have to declare their assets to the MACC within one month.
He has pledged that his government would be a clean one. - Mkini
