While some Malaysians may moan about botched Hari Raya plans this year, perhaps they should also consider those who have to work on that day.
One such person is Health director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah, who inadvertently revealed today how he spends Hari Raya every year.
"Every year, I celebrate Hari Raya in a hospital. On the first day, after prayers, I will head to a hospital to be with our frontliners who have to work.
"This year will be no different," said Noor Hisham, when asked about his plans for Sunday during his daily Covid-19 briefing.
"I'll pray at home and then head off to the hospital to be with the frontliners."
Meanwhile, Noor Hisham reminded Malaysians not to travel interstate.
He also urged those living in red zones - Rembau, Negeri Sembilan and Pudu, Kuala Lumpur - not to leave the area.
