The Gurudwara Sahib Petaling Jaya is cooking free meals for flood victims in the Klang Valley area following floods that left over 4,600 displaced in Selangor alone.
"We will be delivering the Langgar (free meals) in bulk to the areas that require assistance.
"For assistance, contact: GSPJ Flood Foodbank @ 010-2174556" said the group on its Facebook page.
The group's contribution will be to areas in the Klang, Shah Alam, Subang and Petaling Jaya.
It began yesterday when they received an SOS call from Gurudwara Sahib Petaling Tin near Puchong which was badly affected due to the flood.
They sprung into action and are offering help to flood victims.
"We would like to thank everyone who helped and the Giani ji for acting very swiftly.
Stay safe everybody, contact us if anybody needs any help. We will try our level best to help," said the group.
