BENTONG: The body of one of the victims who was swept away by a column of water at the Bobby Eco Camp resort compound on Saturday, was found today.
The remains of Yap Koon Lan, 66, were recovered about 200m from the spot where she was last seen, about 10.15am.
Pahang Fire and Rescue Department deputy director (operations) Ismail Abdul Ghani said Yap's body was found buried below a pile of logs and sand.
"Rescue personnel took about 30 minutes to retrieve the remains. The remains have been identified and handed to the police," he said.
Yap is the resort owner's wife, identified as Bobby Lim Yoke Hoong. Lim, together with a six-year-old boy who came to the resort with his family, are still missing.
