COVID-19 | The Health Ministry reported 17,828 new daily Covid-19 cases yesterday, bringing the total cumulative cases to 4,010,952.
Active cases stand at 263,822, down 13.9 percent compared to 14 days ago.
New cases according to states are as follows:

Another 63 deaths attributed to Covid-19 were reported yesterday, of which 21 were declared as 'brought in dead'.
There have been 1,714 reported Covid-19 deaths this month. For comparison, there were 771 deaths last month and 491 deaths in January.
Malaysia has the highest number of deaths per capita in the Asean and East Asian regions, with 1,040 deaths per 1 million population, and fourth-worst in Asia after Iran, Lebanon and Jordan – all in the Middle East.
Johor reported the most deaths yesterday (14) followed by Selangor (13), Perak (12), Kedah (4), Penang (3), Sarawak (3), Kuala Lumpur (3), Malacca (2), Sabah (2), Terengganu (2), Kelantan (1), Negeri Sembilan (1), Pahang (1), Perlis (1), and Labuan (1).
There were 6,883 Covid-19 patients hospitalised with 358 of them in intensive care.
