Govt to pay RM10,000 to families who have lost breadwinners

PETALING JAYA: The government will pay RM10,000 to families who have lost their source of income due to the death of the head of household as part of its insurance protection plan.

Prime Minister Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the government has identified 268,000 eligible households through its eKasih system and allocated RM13.4 million a year as insurance payment.
