BERA: There has been no decision made on the 15th General Election (GE15) at the moment, which will only be held once the party is ready.
In saying this, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob said the readiness would be discussed by the Umno leadership.
On the Johor election yesterday, Ismail Sabri said the battles and outcome would not jeopardise the working relationship among cabinet ministers who represent various political parties as the cabinet was professional.
He remarked that Barisan Nasional (BN) winning 40 seats was beyond expectation, and that voters were able to make comparisons by choosing political parties and decide which could serve them better, and value the offers (manifesto) made.
Meanwhile, he asked that there be no speculations made on the memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the government and Pakatan Harapan (PH).
He said it was still too early to decide on the MoU which ends on July 31. - NST
