Senior citizen, who was fishing, dies after tree falls on him

 

PETALING JAYA: A senior citizen has died after a tree fell on him.

Selangor Fire and Rescue Department director Norazam Khamis, when contacted, said that the man, in his 60s, was fishing at Sungai Langat at the time of the incident on Tuesday afternoon (March 8).

"Firefighters reached the scene at 4.50pm and removed the tree that had fallen on the victim. His death was confirmed by Health Ministry officials.

"The body has been handed over to the police for further action," he said. - Star
