A short video. This is Lieutenant Colonel Tulsi Gabbard (US Army National Guard), 42 years old, former four term US Congresswoman from Hawaii.
Ms Gabbard also campaigns against same sex marriages and has spoken up for the release of Julian Assange. She was a Democratic presidential candidate in 2020 (at age 39) but pulled out in favour of Joe Biden.
She is a Hindu by faith and her name Tulsi (Tulasi in Tamil) means basil (as in basil leaves).
