PETALING JAYA: The Yang di-Pertuan Agong, Sultan Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, has been admitted to a hospital after experiencing discomfort in his legs, Istana Negara said.
The comptroller of the Royal Household of Istana Negara, Ahmad Fadil Shamsuddin, said Sultan Abdullah was being monitored at the hospital after having undergone medical tests.
“The Agong is doing well and there is no need to be worried about his condition,” he said in a statement.
Fadil said all programmes involving the King would be postponed until further notice.
“The King is expected to return to Istana Negara in a few days after finishing his treatment.
“We call upon everyone to pray for his quick recovery and good health,” he said. - FMT
