Jelutong MP RSN Rayer has been admitted to the Sungai Buloh Hospital today after a road accident.
His aide G Hemanatha said Rayer was conscious and did not sustain serious injuries. However, he did hurt his left hand in the accident.
“We don’t know yet (when he will be discharged). We will only know of his condition after 5pm because the (medical) report hasn’t come out.
“As of now, there is nothing serious,” she told Malaysiakini.
The accident occurred in Batang Kali, Selangor when Rayer was on his way from Penang to Kuala Lumpur.
It is understood that he was heading to Padang Merbok to attend the lawyers’ ‘Walk for Justice’ march to Parliament for judicial independence.
Hemanatha said the accident involved six people, including the DAP lawmaker.
Based on pictures obtained by other media, damage can be seen to the car he was driving on its front and side. - Mkini
