The eldest daughter of Umno president Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is in a comfortable position to grab a Wanita Umno executive councillor position.
As of 10pm tonight, Nurulhidayah has obtained 32 votes, which is the highest number obtained for a Wanita Umno committee position so far.
For the record, it is the second attempt by Nurulhidayah (above) to run for the position.
Elsewhere, the daughter of former Umno president Najib Razak, Nooryana, is a joint leader in the Puteri Umno committee race after obtaining 78 votes.
Also getting the same number of votes as Nooryana is Nurul Syifa Ridzwan Goh.
However, Najib’s son Mohd Naziffuddin has likely lost the position of Umno Youth vice-chairperson to his challenger Ikmal Hazlan Ikmal Hisham.
As of 10pm tonight, Mohd Naziffuddin only got two votes. - Mkini
