PKR’s loss in the Johor polls stemmed from its inability to present voters with an alternative to Menteri Besar Onn Hafiz Ghazi, said Youth chief Kamil Abdul Munim.

Onn Hafiz Ghazi “Onn won big in Johor - this is a bitter pill we need to swallow.
“He won in style in Johor because we failed to produce a leader who can sit on par with Onn in Johor,” he said in his winding-up speech at the PKR annual congress at the Melaka International Trade Centre this evening.
Deputy Prime Minister Fadillah Yusof is recovering according to plan after a successful coronary artery bypass grafting procedure at Institut Jantung Negara (IJN) on Aug 12.

Fadillah Yusof In a statement today, IJN said Fadillah underwent a double bypass surgery after an initial coronary angiogram on July 29.
It added that as part of his early mobilisation programme yesterday, Fadillah completed 2.8km of cycling exercise under the supervision of IJN’s medical team, after which he was transferred to the general ward from the Intensive Care Unit. - Mkini
