Malaysia under Umno, indeed a corrupt nation

Well, the Merdeka Day celebration had just concluded. Then what we got? Umno is still ruling this nation and when it does, this nation will continue to corrupt systematically, both politically and economically, hiding under the auspicious Dasar Ekonomi Baru (DEB), guess what? The Malays, in which Umno had always claim to be solely representing and in defence of, still remain in a poor and devastating condition, the Bumiputra equity has yet to reach its targeted 30 percent or whatever it is, despite after 55 years of independence. We wonder why Umno has always blame others for being ungrateful over its 55 years of failure in upbringing the Malay community?

Now, let us discuss the issues of the recent highlights. When the people has decided to step on the photos of the current prime minister Najib Razak and his so-called first lady Rosmah Mansor, the home minister was quick to get angry and urged the police to act against those who had stepped on the pictures of their "beloved" prime minister and the "dominating" first lady. According to some members of the top brass in the police force, stern action would be taken against those culprits who did that.

Prior to that, Umno Youth, Perkasa, Pekida and Pembela members in Penang held a massive and violent demonstration in Penang to demonstrate against the state's Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng. These Umno Youth, Perkasa, Pekida and Pembela members had even went to the residence of the chief minister to threatened not only Guan Eng but his family members as well. In that event, these Umno Youth, Perkasa, Pekida and Pembela members had also took pictures of Guan Eng, put them on the floor and stepped on them continuously, after that they even burn some of Guan Eng's pictures in public. Guess what, the home minister and police said this country practices democracy and everyone has their right to express their dissatisfaction.

So, stepping on the pictures of the Najib and Rosmah were wrong while stepping and burning the pictures of Guan Eng was alright. Isn't it so, dear home minister and the police chief? Please explain your "professionalism".

The one is about some youth who came forward to display the flag of the Sang Saka Merah Putih on the eve of Merdeka Day, that is during the Janji Demokrasi gathering of more than 10,000 people at the Dataran Merdeka. On the very next day, BN-Umno leaders are quick to accuse the opposition coalition Pakatan Rakyat of engineering a "subversive" attempt to change our nation's Jalur Gemilang. Guess what again? The police are now working very, very hard to identify all those who waved the Sang Saka Merah Putih flag so that they could be arrested as soon as possible.

What happened in Penang previously? Umno Youth, Perkasa, Pekida and Pembela members organized a mass rally in an attempt to overthrow the Penang state government. In the rally, these Umno Youth, Perkasa, Pekida and Pembela members are seen carrying the flags of Kurdistan in the streets shouting slogans of hate, anger  and promoting violence. By carrying the Kurdistan flag while demonstrating, aren't that seems to be an attempt to change the current Penang flag to that of the Kurdistan?

Again, carrying or waving the Sang Saka Merah Putih flag is called an offence, and the police are efficiently quick in investigating the highlights now, while those who carried the Kurdistan flag in the Penang demonstration are considered alright to do that because it is part of "democracy". How do you differentiate these two cases, dear home minister and police chief?

See, even the justice in this nation is entirely corrupt. Two different sets of laws are in making, one to say it is alright when it involves the ruling elites, but when it comes to those who are oppose this corrupt system, it will turn into an offence.
