Tourism and Culture Minister Mohamed Nazri Abdul Aziz has described suggestions that cabinet ministers pay for their own petrol as a "stupid idea".
Speaking to reporters in Kuala Lumpur today, Nazri said that thesuggestion, which came from PKR strategist Rafizi Ramli, should first be heeded by those holding public office in states administered by Pakatan Rakyat.
"I want to rebut that stupid suggestion by (Rafizi). He is a stupid kid. He as accused me of being corrupt before, although I wasn't.
"I want him to ask his menteri besar and exco members, the Penang chief minister and the menteri besar of Kelantan to pay for their own fuel as well," he said.

Rafizi had told a press conference this morning that Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak should order his cabinet and deputy ministers to pay for their own petrol in order to understand the burden faced by the recent increase in petrol and diesel prices.
