ROGUE COPS arrested for raping Indonesian woman at river bank

SEPANG - Two cops from the Dengkil police station were arrested yesterday for the rape of a female Indonesian immigrant.

Sources said that the one of the lance corporals who is in his 20's was known to the victim as she had contacted him to meet before she lodged a report on Nov 30.

"During the meet which was supposedly to discuss a problem faced by the victim, the first suspect had brought the second suspect along,

"The three of them met at a river bank here in Dengkil sometime late last month," sources told the New Straits Times.

It was there that the 42-year-old woman was then allegedly raped by the duo.

Following a medical check-up, the two suspects believed to have been cops for the past five years were traced and arrested.  - NST
