Another Terengganu state assembly person Ghazali Taib is on the verge of retracting his resignation, according to a Berita Harianreport quoting unnamed sources.
The Umno-linked daily said the Ajil rep and state exco member would re-join Umno and therefore give BN the upper hand once again.
Should Ghazali return to the BN fold, it would only leave ex-menteri besar Ahmad Said, who was the first to resign early yesterday morning, followed by Ghazali and Bukit Besi assemblyperson Roslee Daud.
Last night, Bernama reported that Roslee has since retracted his resignation, but there has been no confirmation from him.
Malaysiakini is attempting to contact both Ghazali and Roslee regarding this matter.
Without Roslee and Ghazali's resignations, BN would have 16 seats versus Pakatan Rakyat's 15 in the state assembly.
