DAP has alleged that BN's Pasir Salak MP Tajuddin Abdul Rahman enterred the polling centre at SK Kampung Bahagia while wearing a BN shirt.
Tweeting a picture of it, DAP's Serdang MP Ong Kian Ming also questioned how Tajuddin can enter the polling centre without wearing an Election Commission tag.
“Wah, this YB can stroll around a polling centre without a tag and wearing that shirt,” he tweeted.
Ong said that his checks also revealed that Tajuddin (left) is not a Teluk Intan voter and votes in his own constituency of Pasir Salak.
The picture now circulating online shows Tajuddin in a dark blue shirt with the BN logo, walking in what appears to be a school compound.
Only EC staff, media photographers, security personnel, candidate agents and voters are allowed in polling centres.
Party logos and other paraphernalia are also not allowed in polling centres.
When contacted, Tajuddin refused to speak and told Malaysiakinithat he is too busy with the by-election.
Tajuddin was earlier spotted being lifted by his supporters, who were also carrying BN flags, at the same time DAP candidate Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud visited the polling centre.
The incident at about 2pm today sparked a shouting match between BN and DAP supporters, but it did not escalate further.
Dyana is going against Gerakan president and BN candidate Mah Siew Keong.
