Most people know that the only reason the ANC wants Najib out is to pave the way for Mukhriz to take over as the Deputy Prime Minister, and by 2020 the Prime Minister. And Najib has confirmed this in his interview in the video below.
THE CORRIDORS OF POWER
Raja Petra Kamarudin
Muhyiddin Yassin said he supports Deputy Prime Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi as the successor to Prime Minister Najib Tun Razak. Zahid’s response to that was rather negative. He did not jump up and down all excited while profusely thanking Muhyiddin for his open show of support. Instead, Zahid whacked Muhyiddin.
First of all, Zahid is loyal to Najib. They have been together for more than 30 years and Zahid has always covered Najib’s back. That was why, in the first place, Najib chose him as his number two. A number two must be loyal to the number one and not try to stab his boss in the back. And that is Zahid, loyal to Najib to a fault. And Zahid knows, if Najib falls, then he will fall as well — and not he will take over if Najib falls.
I remember one occasion, 30 years ago back in the 1980s, when I was involved in one exercise regarding certain people who were trying to sabotage Najib’s bid for the Umno Youth leadership. Zahid sat down with us to come out with a plan on how to foil that move. And it worked, The sabotage failed and Najib went on to become the Umno Youth Leader. I still refer to that ‘operation’ as ‘The Coliseum Cafe Conspiracy’ — and Zahid will know what I am talking about.
Secondly, Zahid knows that Muhyiddin does not support him for Prime Minister. And Zahid knows this because Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad does not support him. So, if Mahathir does not support him, how can Muhyiddin support him? Muhyiddin and Mahathir are working in concert and are not working against each other.
Finally, Zahid is not stupid that he does not know Muhyiddin is just playing a silly game and is hoping that by openly expressing his support for Zahid to replace Najib then Najib and Zahid may clash. And if Najib and Zahid clashes, then it would be easier for the Anti-Najib Campaign (ANC) to oust Najib.
This is primary school politics and I am surprised that someone like Muhyiddin is playing this type of politics. This is just like those PKR people spreading the story that Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail and Selangor Menteri Besar Azmin Ali are quarrelling because of a ‘love triangle’.
Yes, even some very senior PKR leaders have personally told me this. They say that Wan Azizah is angry with Azmin just like any wife would be angry with her husband’s lover. So what the hell are they trying to say? Are they saying that Azmin and Anwar are lovers?
One chap even told me that one day, when Anwar was still the Deputy Prime Minister, Wan Azizah stormed into Anwar’s office to confront and scold one of Anwar’s PAs who she suspected was romantically involved with Anwar. When I asked him which woman that was (the PA), the reply was, that is precisely the issue, and he smiled (meaning it was not a woman but a man).
Anyway, these are the stories they are spinning and they may not even be true because this is what the PKR leaders tell me they heard and not about what they saw. And this is the same game Muhyiddin is trying to play in the hope that the Najib-Zahid partnership can be split, which will be good for the ANC.
Then Muhyiddin says that the Umno members do not understand the 1MDB issue and that is the reason why they do not support the ANC in its bid to oust Najib. Muhyiddin assumes that if the Umno members do not support the ANC then it can be for only one reason: the Umno members do not understand the 1MDB issue.
But then I thought Muhyiddin said that he himself does not understand the 1MDB issue and whatever little he knows he picked up from reading The Edge. And now Professor Dr Muhyiddin has a PhD in 1MDB and can lecture us at length regarding the matter.
So which is it now? Is Muhyiddin only asking questions and is not accusing because he does not understand the 1MDB issue (the story before he was sacked as the DPM)? Or is Muhyiddin now an expert on 1DMB and is confirming that Najib stole more than RM50 billion and transferred more than RM4 billion to his personal bank account (the story he is now telling)?
It did not occur to Muhyiddin that maybe the ANC does not have the support of the Umno members not because they do not understand the 1MDB issue but due to the opposite — because they do understand the 1MDB issue.
Muhyiddin assumes that the Umno members do not support the move to oust Najib because they are ignorant. Actually it is the other way around. They do not support the move to oust Najib not because they are ignorant but because they know the real reason why the ANC wants Najib ousted. So the Umno members are cleverer than Muhyiddin gives them credit for.
Most people know that the only reason the ANC wants Najib out is to pave the way for Mukhriz to take over as the Deputy Prime Minister, and by 2020 the Prime Minister. And Najib has confirmed this in his interview in the video below.
They pretend that this is about saving Malaysia whereas it is actually about saving Boboi. Mahathir wants to save his Boboi and so does Lim Kit Siang. And that is why Mahathir and Kit Siang are as thick as thieves. Both want the same thing, to save their sons. And now, at last, Najib has said so in the video below.
Yes, this is merely a Save Boboi campaign, not a Save Malaysia campaign. And Muhyiddin has underestimated the intelligence of the Umno members. He though the Umno members do not know this. He thought the Umno members believed this is about 1MDB and about saving Malaysia.
What a bloody idiot!

Muhyiddin: Umno members don’t understand 1MDB issue
Failure to grasp issue is reason why Umno members not pushing for Najib Razak’s resignation, says Muhyiddin Yassin.
(Free Malaysia Today) – Many Umno members do not understand issues related to 1MDB and this has prevented them from joining the Citizens’ Declaration to oust Prime Minister Najib Razak, laments former Deputy Prime Minister Muhyiddin Yassin.
The suspended Umno number two revealed that his constituents in Pagoh had repeatedly asked him to explain the controversial 1MDB and the RM2.6 billion donation which had been linked to Najib.
“I explained to them many times over, yet they say they do not understand the issue. How many times am I supposed to spell it out? Umno members just don’t grasp the issue which is tied to the drive to get Najib to step down,” he told a crowd of 200 supporters.
Muhyiddin, who was sacked as the deputy prime minister last year, stressed that he would not oppose the PM if the latter was not involved in such “serious” issues.
Later in his speech, Muhyiddin also rubbished claims that former premier Dr Mahathir Mohamad was senile when he attacked Najib’s administration.
“Mahahtir is not senile. Instead, he comes across as knowledgeable when he speaks about the nation’s interest.”
The Citizens’ Declaration, an initiative spearheaded by Mahathir has seen the participation of politicians across the political divide, civil societies and NGOs, and is calling for Najib to resign.
