CAUGHT ON VIDEO: NAJIB SHAKING & DANCING VIGOROUSLY WITH 2 WOMEN AT SARAWAK EVENT

CAUGHT ON VIDEO: NAJIB SHAKING & DANCING VIGOROUSLY WITH 2 WOMEN AT SARAWAK EVENT
Sarawakians may not care much - or not at all - for Barisan Nasional this coming state election, as they have always been, Yet, for BN, this state’s votes is their biggest fixed deposit for now, for only through the endorsement of Sarawakians, can BN and PM Datuk Seri Najib Razak have stayed and continue to stay in power.

A handphone-recorded video of Najib dancing vigorously on stage in Sarawak has gone viral and it shows Najib in his fittest form since the financial scandals which has been beleaguring him for the past couple of years.
In the video uploaded on Youtube and shared on Facebook, Najib moved, swayed, shook, twirled and clapped happily partnering with Iban and Orang Ulu dancers and  the other BN and Sarawak ministers.
He was the only one who really danced, while the others just clapped and moved their feet. It is obvious this round, he was giving it all he got to show the Sarawakians that he is one fun PM to have and that they should keep BN in complete power.
For Sarawakians, especially in the interiors, Peninsula ministers are not familiar faces as Sarawak has their own ministers. Only the PM and DPM are usually known.

However, with now governor and former Chief Minister Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud having held on to power for decades, the Sarawakians are complacent in endorsing someone they know.
Never mind, if Taib had plundered Sarawak and there was much corruption during his time, what Sarawakians want is just a continuity of the peace and calm. Activists will tell you that it is not easy to hold for long the attention of the rural folks on matters such as human rights and land matters.

For Tan Sri Adenan Satem, who was handpicked by Taib to be the CM, he has made it clear that just because Taib is not the CM anymore, Umno and Peninsula BN will not be allowed to roll in. Since he came in, he has criticised the policies of the Federal Government and even the federal constitution.

Taib’s and Adenan’s party Parti Bumiputra Bersatu (PBB) has dominated Sarawak politics since 1970. PBB is also the second largest party in the federal Barisan Nasional coalition.

Adenan has not minced his words saying it, taking digs at the policies of Najib and even at Najib himself. Even recently, he made a joke suggesting Najib take an Iban wife, which did not go down too well among certain circles.

Adenan, who announced that the state assembly will be dissolved tomorrow (April 11), is a jolly fellow and has played well in fitting into Taib’s long worn shoes. He has also managed to get the Sarawakians to rally around him and keep Peninsula’s BN, especially Umno, at bay.
He also has warned BN that the racism and religion-patronising politics that BN plays in Peninsula will not be allowed in Sarawak, which has many communities living together harmoniously with many families having more than one religion in them.

As for Najib, the last General Election saw him gaining quite a percentage of votes from Sabah and Sarawak. Thus, when he lost the popularity vote, it is quite obvious that he must do all he can to ensure that he either retains the votes he has gotten or up the numbers. He cannot afford to lose even one vote, for that may just do a domino effect, especially in Sarawak.

Thus, despite all his political troubles encircling him like a vulture back home in Peninsula, he did what he had to do - showed off his best moves to the Sarawakians and pray that this may not be his last dance as the PM in Sarawak.
