Did your daughter gain from your post, Perkasa asks IGP

Malay rights pressure group Perkasa urges the police chief Khalid Abu Bakar to explain if the firearms company linked to his daughter benefited from his position as inspector-general of police.
“The IGP should explain when the firearms company linked to his daughter was formed. Was the company in operation when he started holding the IGP's post?” Perkasa's integrity, anti-corruption and abuse of power bureau chief Azrul Akmal Saharudin asked.
"If there is proof that his daughter had been active in the firearms business long before he (Khalid) became the IGP, then there is no (issue) at all.
“But If the date when he was appointed the IGP and the date the company was formed coincide, then there could be an issue,” he said.
“We also hope he will clarify if the company has obtained any tender, project or business from the police,” Azrul added.
Guan Eng’s bungalow
Azrul also urges all top leaders in the country to not only conduct their responsibilities with integrity, but also be “seen” as leaders of integrity in the eyes of the public.
And Azrul said that includes the prime minister, IGP and ministers.
“For example, the issue of Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng allegedly purchasing a bungalow below market price. To show the integrity of a holder of a public post, he should have avoided purchasing the house at the alleged price.
“And now there are allegations in the media linking the bungalow purchase with the (Taman Manggis) land purchased by KLIDC (Kuala Lumpur International Dental Centre). It had been politicised,” Azrul added. -Mkini
