SRC in the dark over who gave order to transfer RM42m to Najib

PARLIAMENT SRC International Sdn Bhd has no information as to who gave the instruction to channel RM42 million to Prime Minister Najib Abdul Razak's personal bank accounts.

Najib said this in his capacity as finance minister in a written reply yesterday.

"SRC does not have any information on this issue and this was based on the reports carried by a (news) portal that cannot verify the authenticity of the source ," he said in response to Zuraida Kamaruddin (PKR-Ampang).

"Under the Article 23 (1) (1) of the Standing Order, there is no need to answer (on the SRC issue) as this is only a question posed to asked to explain the news report," he said.

Zuraida had asked Najib to reveal the person in the SRC who had issued the directive to have RM42 million channelled into Najib's accounts.
