PUTRAJAYA: The Education Ministry today denied rumours of a leak in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) Sejarah Papers 1 and 2.
The ministry, in a statement, denied reports of the leak, as disseminated in the social media.
“Investigations conducted by the Examinations Board revealed that there was no leak and therefore no need for a repeat examination,” the statement said.
The ministry regretted the false statement and advised anyone against spreading such false information as it could cause confusion among the public.
“Hence, the ministry will not hesitate to lodge a report with the Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) if the matter continues to go viral among netizens,” he said.
