More than 2,000 motorcyclists benefitted from the ‘Free Petrol’ programme organised by the Office of the Jerai Member of Parliament and Jerai Umno Youth today.
Jerai Umno Youth leader and programme organiser, Khairul Nizam Mohd Rodzi, said the programme was held for two hours from 4pm at three petrol stations in the Jerai parliamentary constituency.
Two of the petrol stations are in Guar Chempedak and one in Gurun, he told reporters in Yan.
He said the programme was organised to ease the people’s burden as well as a venue for leaders to meet the grassroots.
The programme is sponsored by Koperasi Itqan Jerai Berhad, he added.
