NAJIB: CAN I DISSOLVE PARLIAMENT TOMORROW?

(MMO) – Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak teased Umno supporters tonight by asking if they were ready in the event he called for a general election tomorrow.

Speaking at Umno’s 71st anniversary celebration at the Bukit Jalil National Stadium, it was his most direct hint so far about the 14th general election that is increasingly expected to be held this year, ahead of schedule.

“Are we prepared enough? Can I dissolve Parliament tomorrow?” Najib said.

“We are not afraid, we are not shaken by whatever challenges that we face from the Opposition. We face it with full strength.”
