The Pakatan Harapan presidential council is expected to discuss the issue of crossovers from Umno at its meeting on Saturday.
PKR Wanita chief Zuraida Kamaruddin said this was following speculation that up to 40 Umno MPs could follow in the footsteps of Jeli MP Mustapa Mohamed who last week announced his decision to join Bersatu.
"I read the news but I don't know how far it is true. This is a subject for deliberation for our presidential council meeting on Saturday," the Ampang MP told reporters at Parliament's lobby.
Asked whether she agreed with DAP chairperson Tan Kok Wai's stance that it was an "unhealthy" move for Harapan component parties to accept former Umno MPs, Zuraida said she was unsure what the Cheras MP meant.
"I don't know what that means […] unhealthy can mean a lot of things.
So let it be discussed at the meeting," she said.
